Our Origin
A century-old thread, unbroken
Established in the year 1905 in the city of Benaras, our origins trace back to handlooms and an insatiable love for silk.
Our lineage continues to nurture the weavers of the city by keeping alive the centuries-old tradition of weaving the exquisite Benarasi fabric. In the 1920s, when a burnt-down ship carrying silk threads was brought to Kashi, our ancestors found value where others found ruin — they bought the lot in its entirety, providing employment to the weavers of the city.
It is from such traditions that SILKWaala was born. Over a century has passed since then, yet we continue to uphold the same legacy, thread by thread.
